September

June 9 saw the last meeting for Hub City Turners until Sept 8. As we head into our too short summer it is asked that each one of you see how creative you can get by turning a 2" thick by whatever diameter for a fall showing. I know fishing, golfing and drinking a few beer are important to many people, but just to have something you can show for the summer, fire up the lathe and let the creative juices flow. It may not be as easy on 2" stock to turn out a masterpiece, but consider the challange, reach way down into that hidden talent and come up with something you can be proud of.
