Our Club

Hub City Turners is a small yet vibrant club of woodturners. We currently have 30 members and meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. The main activity for 2012 was our Symposium this past July.  Over 100 people from across North America learned from some of the best turners in North Ameriaca during our three day syposium.

On 13 November our club elected Duncan Birch as President, Dave Balderstone as Secretary and Mel Genge as Treasurer.  We look forward to their leadership for the 2013 year.

We thank the T.C. Douglas High School for their generosity as they allow us to meet in their wood working shop.

Mission Statement

It was the wish of the original 4 members to teach the larger community of interested turners by sharing their knowledge and experience.  Our Mission is "To promote and encourage Saskatoon residents of the many attributes of woodturning".

AAW

Hub City Turners is a member of the American Association of Woodturners, the largest organization of its kind in the world. We have posted a link to the AAW on our Links page.
